Recipes For Grilling Fish - Cooking Fish The Easy Way
Fish on the grill needs to be attended very closely and only takes a few minutes per side. If the filets are an even thickness, fish can be cooked through by grilling it on one side only.
If you soak the fish in water with a little vinegar before baking it, it will turn out to be sweeter, more tender and hold its shape better. Another tip is to marinate the fish fillets in salt and lemon before baking. This makes them easier to handle and gives a fresh taste and firmer flesh.
I have been cooking fish since I was a child with my Grandfather. I remember going out early in the morning to catch some salmon for the evening dinner. I found a great recipe book that has a lot of the same recipes that he used to use.

* In thawing frozen fish, slowly thaw in the fridge for 24 hours or let the wrapped fish be run under cold water not at room temperature. * If you don't oil your grill, the fish will stick, and break apart when you try to remove it.
* Some varieties of fish contain more fat, such as salmon or tuna, which can be cooked until opaque on the outside while remaining somewhat translucent on the inside. * Olive oil or a combination of oil and butter will give the fish a tasty crispness.
