Diabetic Fish Recipes - Cooking Can Be Fun
Fish on the grill needs to be attended very closely and only takes a few minutes per side. If the filets are an even thickness, fish can be cooked through by grilling it on one side only.
There a lot of variables that we need to consider in cooking fish. Thickness, the temperature of the cookware in which the fish is cooked in and basically your personal preference. Fish is sufficiently cooked when it is firm and its meat is flaky. It is just important that irregardless on whether you fry the fish, roast, grill or whatever way you would to cook it, always preheat in advance the cooking equipment to avoid the fish from sticking to the pan and losing much of its moisture.

Another great fish recipe:
Fish fillets Can of tomato soup Chopped green onions Sea salt Grated Cheddar cheese Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix Soup, onion and pepper. Pour over fish and sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake at 350 for about 20 to minutes or until the fish flakes.
I like this one with wild rice and salad. Try it!
Some tips for you:
* The fish is done cooking when it is opaque, and begins to flake.
* Season your batter to your heart's content, salt and pepper never goes wrong. * In thawing frozen fish, slowly thaw in the fridge for 24 hours or let the wrapped fish be run under cold water not at room temperature.
