Deep Fried Fish Recipes - It's Your Grill
Whether you are grilling, frying, baking, poaching, steaming of broiling your fish, the basic rule is that it will take 8-10 minutes of cooking time for every inch of thickness. The biggest mistake most people make in cooking fish is to over cook it. Now if the fish is frozen, count on 20 minutes per inch.
Because fish contains natural oils, it is not compulsory to add oil or fat before baking. To ensure the fish stays moist, you might like to brush a little oil or butter on top of it before cooking or top the fish with seasoned breadcrumbs or thinly sliced vegetables. There are many fish recipes, which make use of vegetables or breadcrumbs to add flavor and texture.
I have been cooking fish since I was a child with my Grandfather. I remember going out early in the morning to catch some salmon for the evening dinner. I found a great recipe book that has a lot of the same recipes that he used to use.

Remember these easy tips with buying and cooking fish:
* For the best possible pan-frying results, take extra care to ensure that the butter or oil is hot and that the fish is well coated with batter.
* A temperature between 350°F and 375°F is an ideal range for deep-frying. The correct temperature can be determined with the use of a candy thermometer. * If you are using fillets, you can sandwich them with stuffing or roll them up, then oven-bake them.
* A parsley and walnut pesto is very good with sea bass. * Make sure your grill is clean and oiled.
